But this £130 beauty treatment, which involves sinister-looking pleather cones, bandages and wiring, is now available in London after years of success in the US where it's dubbed 'LA's most sought-after facial'.
As Sadie Frost and Millie Mackintosh are reported to have had the clinical facial, I put the 75-minute experience the test.
